What's with the white cassock in the photo; and what about the bare feet? I am dressed as a Sri Lankan Priest. In tropical countries the clergy wear a white cassock; and, customarily, thong sandals or Bata slippers (flip flops). However, when in the Sanctuary Sri Lankan clergy are generally barefoot. When in Sri Lanka on my annual leave (I am also the Chair of the India Christian Mission, and  the Paynter Home for Children there). I am privileged to be integrated into the Diocese of Colombo, and have the Bishop's permission to preach and celebrate there.
